The Constitutional Court has compensated four Roma who have been unsuccessfully seeking redress for discrimination for almost thirteen years. They filed a lawsuit claiming they faced discrimination on the ground of their ethnic origin in November 2005, when they were refused to be served by the staff of local bar in a village near Vranov nad Topľou in eastern Slovakia.

The Constitutional Court has compensated Roma man, who since 2014 has been unsuccessfully seeking redress for racial discrimination in access to employment. The European Commission has published a report that provides a detailed insight into the implementation of anti-discrimination legislation, including the Anti-Discrimination Act in Slovakia in 2017.
