We provided information to the UN Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights

We submitted an alternative report to the UN Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights that provides information about ongoing shortcoming in the implementation of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights in relation to Roma ethnic minority in Slovakia. Among others, we focus on issues regarding Roma women's reproductive rights violations as well as violations of Roma children's right to education.

The Committee will consider the progress in implementation of the given covenant by Slovakia at its 66nd Session in October 2019. We believe that our report will provide the Committee more information about the protection of the rights of Roma minority in our country.
